The audio cart is kept in the Technology Nook that is located at the back of the Math Lab.

Overview

  1. Plug the cart power and audio cables into the box outside Room 602
  2. Turn on the microphone you want to use
  3. Adjust the input volume for the microphone

Detailed Steps

  1. Wheel the audio cart from the Technology Nook to Room 602:
  2. Plug in the black audio cable coiled on the top of the cart and the power cable from the same side to the boxes on the wall:
  3. Open the case for the microphone you want to use.  There are three and they are labeled Microphone 1, 2, and 3, and the labels and audio cables are color-coded:
  4. Open the case(s) and turn on the microphone(s) by pressing the power button.  The green light will come on to show the microphone is ready and the Ready light will come on the corresponding receiver on the audio cart:
  5. Speak into the microphone and you should hear the sound from the courtyard speakers
  6. To adjust the volume do not change the master volume! Change the input controls for Mic 1, 2, and 3 on the left side:
  7. Tap the power button t mute the microphone and the green light will change to amber.  Tap it again to unmute it:
  8. After using, hold down the power button on the microphone for several seconds to turn it off, and then unplug the power and black audio cable from the wall.  Return the cart to the Technology Nook
